A&M are celebrating NationalApprenticeship Week 2018, with 8 talented apprentices, who make a great contribution to our success.
As A&M grew we realised we needed to be pro-active and combat the engineering skills gap by developing our own engineers for the future.
Over the past 5 years we have developed our own Apprentice Programme and we now have 8 current apprentices. We work closely with Dudley College, where the apprentices do the academic part of their training.
We also have four former apprentices now employed by A&M as engineers; three of these are studying HNC. Our apprentices make a real impact to our manufacturing capabilities from an early stage as they work on real jobs under the supervision of experienced staff acting as mentors.
