Steve F Leaving Do

Steve Foster has just retired from A&M after 50 years working in engineering.

Steven started work aged 16 in 1975 as an apprentice toolmaker. He progressed to become Engineering Manager for a large company based in Redditch which included managing quality standards and inspection.

20 years ago, Steve decided he wanted to move away from managing multiple people and sites and focus on metrology inspection.

Steve joined A&M in 2015 and worked with Mark to develop our metrology service to customers. He’s been the organiser for the annual angling days and will continue to coordinate in the future.

Steve is very proud of being able to contribute to A&M’s growth and reputation, he said

“It’s been great working at A&M and part of a successful, growing business which recognises the importance of investing in CMM to prove customer parts are manufactured to precise specifications.”

Everyone at A&M wishes Steve a long, healthy retirement and plenty of fish caught in his new nets.
