We have designed and manufactured the ultimate classic Mini A+5 high performance engine block and auxiliaries.
This is a unique bespoke design 1273cc engine block, machined in aluminium to deliver lightweight style and performance.
A range of auxiliary parts and alternative engine configurations are available:

- 998cc 12G940 head with 11 studs
- 1171cc for K16v head
- 1171cc 12G940 head with 11 studs
- 1273cc for K16 head
The transverse front wheel drive Mini engine and rear wheel drive in-line version provide performance for Mini enthusiasts around the world.
Engine Block Features
Bespoke 75mm crankshaft, weighing 8kg (classic mini weighs approx. 12kg)
Block weighs less than 1/3 of the original short block design
5 main bearings, 3 central main bearing end caps use 4 bolt fixings
HIX beam conrods
Long rod ratio 2:1 to take Omega pistons, can be manufactured to take alternative pistons on request
Bespoke head gasket
Designed to retrofit BMW K1200 head
Capable of 10,000 RPM (based on working limits of cylinder liners)
Under piston oil squirts
Cylinder Head long stud configuration
Dry and Wet sleeve liners
NA or Turbo configuration
Anodised Aluminium finish in various stylish colours (preventing water corrosion)
