A&M are proud to announce the completion of the first batch of production ready Ranger aero-propulsion systems.
- 20hp class leading power to weight ratio for vertical take off UAVs
- Kerosene only operation
- Near turbine levels NVH, AS9100 quality
Eight Ranger aero propulsion systems are ready for a customer. This system has been in development for five years, kick started by a Midlands Aerospace Alliance Unlocking Potential R&D grant.
The Ranger is the latest addition to a family of sophisticated kerosene only fuelled A&M heat engine products. All products are aimed at niche markets, including disaster relief and aeronautical, are produced to AS9100 standards.
The liquid cooled Ranger incorporates several proprietary groundbreaking technologies to lead the market supply for sustained and resilient small-medium sized VTOL UAV applications.
The Ranger is rated at 17hp continuous operation ISA ASL, has near turbine levels of NVH, has full CAN Bus communication and the highest power to weight ratio in its class. A sibling of the Ranger has gained certification from a European country to fly out of restricted zones.
